Headteacher's Welcome

I am delighted to welcome you to Dallow Primary, a vibrant school at the heart of the local community.   We have a large and highly experienced staff team who are all dedicated and committed to improving the life chances of every child.

We are proud of the progress that children make during their time here at Dallow and of the enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities we offer to enhance the academic curriculum and develop the whole child.

Of course, the best thing about Dallow is the children - they are polite, courteous and good role models as you would expect and they are enthusiastic about their learning and genuinely enjoy being at school.

Dallow is an exciting and happy place to learn.  We follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) as it allows pupils to widen their horizons in terms of learning.  This unique curriculum has a strong element of internationalism built into learning and by adopting the IPC, we are central to a learning global community which reflects the multi-cultural community we have here at Dallow.  Our specialist Early Years provision plays an important role in preparing the children for later schooling and the focus is on learning through play and providing memorable experiences to build on knowledge and skills.  In all year groups we recognise the importance of reading, as it underpins everything we do.

We work hard to involve our families and the community with school life and value the contributions that are made.  The Dallow Family is a caring and supportive environment where our children are safe, thriving on the opportunities made available to them and developing into lifelong learners.

As you can see from our website, Dallow is a great school!  If you would like to visit and see this for yourself, please contact us to arrange a visit.
